VENDORS & CONCESSIONAIRE WORKERS

The NAS Kingsville Air Show committee is currently looking for workers for the 2020 "Wings Over South Texas" Air Show, which takes place on 04-05 April. Individual and group workers are needed. We will need at least 20 booths staffed with a daily requirement of about 160 people, depending on what the particular booths are selling.
Each worker will be paid the same, regardless of the type of booth that they work. Payment is $50 for an 8 hour work day. If a worker registers for both days and does not show up for their Sunday shift, the worker forfeits the payment for Saturday.
Each worker should: Dress comfortably with protective shoes (No open toes); Shirts must have sleeves (No tank tops); Wear head coverings (cap, visor, or hairnet); and dress according to weather forecasts. Don't forget your sunscreen!
Food vouchers will be provided to workers each day and will only be valid for food purchase on the Midway. It may not be used for merchandise or beer purchase. Unlimited soft drinks will be provided by concessionaire.
You must be 16 years of age or older to work at any booth, and you must be 21 years of age or older to work at booths that sell alcohol. No alcohol may be consumed during the work shifts. Beer servers must comply with all Texas and U.S. Navy requirements. CARE training will be provided prior to the Air Show by MWR at no cost.
Workers will be selected to meet staffing requirements, so some groups or individuals that apply may not be selected. All food booth staff must have a valid Texas Food Handler's Sanitation Card and they must meet all Texas and U.S. Navy requirements. A food handler's class will be provided prior to the Air Show by MWR at no cost.
